The cost of the event is included in your child’s tuition. They will receive a snack, lunch, a craft, and their theme t-shirt at the event. In the past, we have asked students to bring a snack to share. In light of the many changes we are making for the safety of the students, we are asking parents to donate packaged items that we can include in a pre-made snack/lunch bag for each child. We are looking for the following packaged items to be brought to school a couple days before the event so we can prepare the bags. Please drop them in the office on Wednesday, September 2nd. We are needing apple slices, cheese sticks, snack size chips, snack size cookies, and juice boxes. A form will be going home this week with event reminders and with a sign up to bring one of those items.
Activities are being planned that will maintain our standards for distancing and other safety precautions that have been put in place. The students will be getting wet during one of the activities and should bring a towel to school that day. Girls should wear a modest suit and boys should wear swim trunks to school. They are allowed to wear regular non uniform clothing over top their suits on this day! Please apply sunscreen before they arrive at school. Students do not need backpacks on this day for school purposes, but may wish to bring it or another bag to keep their items together. All items should be marked with the child’s name. They will also receive their theme tshirt on this day after the spiritual theme is revealed which can be worn on any day other than chapel day! Unfortunately, we are unable to take advantage of parent help on this day, but if you would like to help with some of the preparation from home, please let Mrs. Allen know via email at email@example.com.
