Kirsten Balatgek

Art, Computers, Photography, Yearbooks

Mrs. Balatgek has been a joy to have as part of our staff with the many God-given talents she brings. She has always had a passion and a gifting in the arts and has been blessed to see how God ordained her steps in preparing her for a position as a teacher; a job she loves. She was raised in Christian education and attended and graduated from a Christian college with a BS in Photography and BS in Graphic Design. Kirsten loves everything beautiful and helps with many creative areas needed on campus, like helping with the drama set design, costumes, or when anyone else just needs a hand. She teaches a variety of classes each year to both the elementary and JH/HS students including general art and basic computers, 3D printing, photography, life skills, and yearbook. She is married 18 years to her husband Brad, and they have 2, almost-grown children, Noah and Hannah. Hannah attends FCS and is in her freshman year and Noah is a senior at Gilbert Christian School. Together they attend the Chandler Seventh-day Adventist church. Her favorite verse is Psalm 34:4–5, 8, “I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”

Mrs. Balatgek joined the Faith Family in 2016.
