Assistant JH/HS Principal, History, Senior Seminar, Study Skills
Dr. Janice Stenglein is a state-certified secondary teacher with experience in public education and as an adjunct professor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Master of Public Administration, Master of Education Administration, and Doctor of Management. Janice previously served on the FCS School Board and is now in her fifth year serving at Faith as Assistant JH/HS Principal and social studies teacher. She is grateful for the opportunity to partner with students, families, and colleagues in providing a Christ-centered education.
Janice and her husband, Lloyd, have been married for nearly 30 years. Their son is a Faith Christian School alumnus from the Class of 2021, and their daughter graduated with the Class of 2025. Dr. Stenglein attends One Life Church.
As a former public school student and teacher, Janice understands the importance and value of Christian education. For the Christian, education should be about more than the “Three Rs.” Education must be presented from a Christian worldview, with the understanding that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge…” (Proverbs 1:7a). Janice believes that a biblical worldview should be woven into every subject at Faith and values the time the faculty and staff spend in prayer for their students each day.
“FCS is truly one big family where all are loved.”
Dr. Stenglein’s favorite verse is Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
