Faith Christian School takes every precaution to keep students safe while on campus. During school hours, all outside doors remain locked. All visitors must enter through the office and sign in at the front desk. Drills are performed regularly to ensure that staff and students are fully prepared for an emergency. A full-time security guard patrols the campus during school hours.

Faith Christian School is wholly funded through tuition and charitable donations and does not receive government funding. This means that we can speak boldly the truth of the gospel, which is integrated into everything we do and teach. All students also have Bible class, where they learn Christian truths about God’s divine plan. Students attend chapel once a week. Charter schools, by law, cannot teach from the Bible or proclaim God’s word as the ultimate authority. Praise the Lord that we can!

Yes. Faith Christian School is accredited through Christian Schools International and Cognia (North Central Association).

Arizona is blessed with the Tuition Tax Credit program. This allows taxpayers to direct their tax dollars toward students desiring a Christian education. We encourage all families to apply for tuition tax credit monies and ask their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to participate in the program. It costs them nothing, and they get to spend their tax dollars furthering Kingdom work.

The Empowerment Scholarship Award(ESA) allows an account administered by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) and funded by state tax dollars to provide education options for qualified Arizona students. ESA dollars cover multiple education expenses such as private school tuition, curricula, educational supplies, tutoring, and more. We encourage all families to see if ESA is an option that works best for them.

Our weekly chapel services are a special time when we gather as a school family to worship and hear a message from God’s word. Our high school worship team leads us as we worship together to prepare our hearts for the sharing of God’s word. We then hear a message from one of our school leaders or a local pastor from the community about an aspect of our year’s spiritual theme.

At Faith Christian School, we believe that small class sizes are essential to the school’s overall learning environment. We generally cap our elementary classes at about 22 and 7th-12th grade classes at 25.

The enrollment process begins by filling out the application and paying the registration fee. This saves your child a spot in the class and is the first step in joining the Faith Christian School family.

We would love to meet you and show you around the campus. Evening Open Houses are held periodically for prospective families to meet the administration and staff and tour the campus. Tours are also given by appointment. Contact the school office or fill out this form to schedule a tour.

Faith Christian School is non-denominational, and our student body includes students from various denominations. The Bible is our ultimate source of truth and the lens through which we view the world. Take a few moments to read more about what we believe.

Faith Christian School offers hot lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for those who wish to buy. You can find our current offerings on our Lunch Program page. Parents may order lunches online through CampusPay. Students are also allowed to bring their own lunches, and microwaves are available for student use.

We can only do what we do with parent help. All parents are asked to volunteer 20 hours each school year to assist the school in some way. This may mean helping in the classroom, going on field trips, helping with fundraisers, helping in the school office, and various other opportunities. We know that our parents have busy lives, but we believe that every family can contribute in some way to their child’s education.

Faith Christian School is blessed to have a school bus that transports students to sporting activities, field trips, and other school events. Transportation to school and other events is the responsibility of the parent.

Homework is an integral part of the educational process and is assigned as necessary for learning. It is given for several reasons, including drill, practice, remedial activity, and special projects. The amount of homework that is assigned is appropriate to each grade level. The average student, on the average night, could expect 10 minutes of homework times the child’s grade level (Example: 3rd grade ~ 30 minutes).

Church of the Master and Faith Christian School are committed to the comprehensive discipleship of children and adults alike. We believe that a Christian School education is a significant part of each student’s spiritual, social, and educational development.
