Assistant JH/HS Principal, History
jstenglein@faith-christian.org
Dr. Janice Stenglein is a state certified secondary teacher with experience in public education and as an adjunct profession. She earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science, Master of Public Administration, Master of Education Administration, and a Doctor of Management. Janice has served on the FCS School Board, and we are very excited to have her on the Faith Faculty in her position as Assistant Principal and History teacher. We are confident that our students and school family are blessed by her work in this role.
She and her husband of over 20 years, Lloyd, have two children who have attended Faith since elementary school. Their son is now an FCS alumnus (class of 2021). Together they attend Red Mountain Community Church.
As a former public school student and teacher, Janice understands the importance and value of Christian education. For the Christian, education should be about more than the “Three Rs”. Education must be presented from a Christian worldview, with the understanding that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge…” (Prov 1:7a). Janice truly understands the importance of Christian worldview being woven into every subject at Faith and values the time our faculty and staff spend in prayer for our students each day.
“FCS is truly one big family where all are loved.”
Dr. Stenglein’s favorite verse comes from Hebrews 12:1 which says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”
