Phillip Whitaker

Mr. Whitaker is a devoted leader and passionate mentor who brings his life experience and deep faith into every aspect of his role at Faith Christian School. After proudly serving 22 years in the United States Army, he felt called to a new mission field—education. He has been married to his wife Ashley for 14 years, and together they have two sons, Jace and Reid. He is a bold Christian man who puts the Lord first in all things and strives to lead with integrity and purpose. He spent several years as a varsity football kicking coach and now uses both his coaching and military background to lead in the classroom and in the athletic department with discipline, heart, and a Christ-centered vision. His favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5–6, which reminds him to trust in the Lord and submit to His guidance in all areas of life.
